Chinese smartphone maker iQoo has launched the Neo 6 smartphone in its native market. The 5G smartphone’s base 8GB+128GB RAM and storage variant comes at 2,799 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 35,000). There is an 8GB+256GB variant also that retails at 2,999 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 35,900) and a 12GB+256GB variant that’s been priced at 3,299 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 39,400). It is not yet known whether the company plans to bring the device to India.
The iQoo Neo 6 smartphone features a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080×2400 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and has an inbuilt fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with a 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone runs Android 12 with OriginOS Ocean custom skin on top.
For imaging duties, there is a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Plus GW1P primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP monochrome lens. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
When it comes to the connectivity options, the phone comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The various sensors the device comes with are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
The iQoo Neo 6 is backed by a 4700mAh battery with support for 80W Flash Charge fast charging.
