iQoo has announced the launch of the Phoenix (Orange) variant of the iQoo 9 smartphone with colour changing technology. Priced at Rs 42,990 (8GB+128GB) and Rs 46,990 (12GB+256GB), the iQoo 9’s new colour variant will be available for purchase on Amazon.in and the iQoo e-store from today.
As per iQoo, the new vibrant colour of iQoo 9 is produced by a geometric craft on Frosty AG Glass at the back of the smartphone. The back of the smartphone changes colour when exposed to sunlight and other sources of artificial UV rays. The UV rays in sunlight change the internal structure of glass molecules resulting in the changing of the existing colour of the device into the Phoenix (Orange) colour variant.
The iQOO 9 smartphone comes powered with the Snapdragon 888+ 5G mobile SoC and runs Android 12 operating system. It features a 6.56-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera houses a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP wide-angle sensor and a 13MP portrait camera. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera in the smartphone. iQoo 9 houses a 4,350 mAh battery with 120W FlashCharge fast-charging support.
